TeamBuilder Quick Start

Once the software has been installed you will notice an icon for TeamBuilder on your desktop.  Double click this to start the software and enter your email address and password to log in.  If you have forgotten your password, or have any general support issues please email support@hallmarksolutions.com  You should also have activated your account, full instructions for which are contained within the email you received when you registered and downloaded the software.  If you experience any problems at all, email us at support@hallmarksolutions.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Using the software

After logging in, you will find a page which lets you enter candidate details.  For the purposes of a tutorial, it is a good idea to enter your own details and then hit 'Save Changes'.  After this, click on the tab labelled 'Behaviour' and you will be taken to a page specific to behavioural reports.  Click on the button 'Take Test' and you will be presented with a word based behavioural test.  Answer the questions as indicated on screen and click 'Ok' once complete.  You will return to the behavioural profiling page where you will see your 3 new behaviour graphs.  These are your Work Graph, your Pressure Graph and your Self Graph in that order - don't worry about what these mean for just now.

Producing Reports

Now that your behavioural profile is stored in the software you may produce a report.  Click on the button marked 'Produce Behaviour Based Report' and you will see a list of reports you can choose.  To produce each report costs 10 units the first time a report is produced on that person, and 5 units for any subsequent reports on the same person.  With the trial you have 100 units, so you could produce a single report on 10 different people or all 9 reports on 2 different people.

We recommend trying the PBI Report to start with as this is the easiest to read and understand.  When generating other reports, you may find a little overlap in the reports occurs - this is normal and in practice when using the software you would normally pick 2 or 3 reports for any one person and these would be down to personal preference or company policy.

If you encountered any problems producing the reports it may be that you do not have Microsoft Word installed - don't worry you can still produce reports, but you need to select the 'Options' button in the bottom left and choose to use Internet Explorer to display the reports instead of Microsoft Word.

Now that you have produced your first report, you might like to try another one on yourself or perhaps try the same report on another person.  Note that the computer based behavioural test is also available in paper and in fact, using paper is the normal way of testing people en masse as this method is easier for HR staff to administer.  If you have any enquires about this you may check our website www.hallmarksolutions.com or email sales@hallmarksolutions.com.  We will be more than happy to provide a quote for supplying paper based tests.  Note that the aptitude tests, since they are time dependent are only available on paper - these paper aptitude tests are Crown Copyright in Britain and are proven worldwide.  If you would like more details about these, again check our website or email sales@hallmarksolutions.com

Job Matching

Another good thing to explore in the software is the 'Job Matching' tab.  Enter a title for the Job you are considered recruiting someone for and then click on 'Take Test'.  You will be presented with a number of questions regarding the job which you should answer as truthfully as possible.  It is normally best to have two or more people answer the questions for this test who all know the requirements of the job role.  Once you have finished, double click on the person in the left hand list that you would like to compare to the job role and then click on 'Print Job Comparison'.  A report will be produced which explains why this person matches or doesn't match the job role specified in terms of their work based behaviour.
